Fort Point Theatre Channel performs at venues throughout the Fort Point community and in Boston.

Many of our events take place at or near our home at Midway Studios at 15 Channel Center Street in Fort Point.

Directions to Channel Center Street

Channel Center Street is an alley parallel to A Street and behind 215 A Street/10-30 Channel Center Street. It is two blocks long, from Binford Street to Iron Street.

You are NOT looking for Channel Street if you are using a map, GPS, Google Maps, etc. And the rear of 10-30 Channel Center Street was formerly 215 A Street.

Walking

Midway Studios is 10-15 minutes away from South Station by foot. You can also take the #11 bus from South Station and get off at the second stop, at Mt. Washington and A Streets.

To walk or drive to Channel Center Street from South Station, go east on Summer Street from South Station. As soon as you cross the channel, turn right on Melcher Street and go to A Street. Turn right onto A Street. Go about three blocks to Binford Street and turn left. Go 50 feet to Channel Center Street and turn right. The #11 bus stop at Mt. Washington is a few feet past Binford Street.

Walking or Driving via Congress Street

Take Congress Street east from downtown Boston.
Cross Fort Point Channel on the Congress Street Bridge and pass the Children's Museum on your left. At A Street, go right. Go down A Street. See directions above.

Parking near the Channel Center

Nearby, there is a parking lot on Binford Street and a parking garage off A Street, behind the Channel Center Park.

On-street parking can be confusing due to resident-only signs in many places. Observe these; not only is this our home, but ticketing is frequent.

In general, the east side of A Street (away from Boston and alongside the Channel Center buildings) is resident-only parking after 6 pm. Parking is okay at the meters on the west side between Melcher and Necco Street anytime (free in the evenings).

There are a few metered spaces (free at night) on Congress Street and Summer Street. Check the signs on which metered spaces become resident-only at night.

During the evenings and on weekends, there is parking behind Midway Studios on Medallion Avenue.
